Things have been awfully quiet over here, haven’t they? And it’ll remain quiet for the rest of the week!
I’m enjoying a well deserved vacation, and unlike some bloggers who think “blogging is a religion or lifestyle that dominates your life 24/7” I don’t feel like blogging when taking a vacation.
The reason for this is simple: The best, most succesfull articles at Joomla and More a re solutions for problems I encountered when at work. You know what I’m trying to say, right? You don’t experience those problems when not working.
That, and I really needed a blog from anything that’s related to my job. It’s been ages since I had a real vacation, and blogging about Joomla would put a dent in the “not working” feeling I’m thoroughly enjoying.
For those interested: I spent the weekend in Germany, in the Eiffel area. I’ve been rather busy because we didn’t come here to sit on our asses, but it’s really relaxing. The environment here is mindblowing. I deffinitely wouldn’t mind living here, in an aread where you can drive a few kilometers without seeing a house.
The food is great too: We discovered a bistro / restaurant which servers affordable; good meals. They serve anything from pizza’s to kebab, salads or chicken nuggets… and much, much more. Their selection is really big; which surprised us at first. Tomorrow we’ll be eating there for the third time in a row! There goes one of my “predjudices” I always had against Germany!
Another one is of a totally different nature: I never realizes there are so many “hot” German women! I would post pictures, but I’m not the type of guy to creep around, taking pictures of unknowing girls (Although I’ve seen a dude do it today. Yikes!)
I never thought I’d say this, but… a German vacation can be great! This is just what I needed to recharge my batteries.
I’ll be back in a week, with fresh Joomla! articles; I’ve even written down some ideas before leaving. But for now, I’m living the good live. See you back soon!
