Are you trying to set up a cronjob, but do you have a hard time to figure how it’s done? It can be a bit confusing.
I remember like yesterday that I thought * */1 * * * meant “run this every hour” and was baffled when the cronjob ran every minute, instead. Now that I think about it, that actually did happen yesterday. Oops.
Fortunately, you can fall back on a cronjob generator to help you. The one built by the people of Easycron.com is pretty neat, so I recommend you give it a try. Their generator lets you configure the cronjob, and then gives an example of when it will run. Which – shocking, I know – is a featurer missing from other generators.
I suggest you give this generator a try. Oh, and they’ve also got a neat and affordable cronjob service which, if you take their word for it, makes setting up cronjobs even easier. We haven’t tried it ourself, though.
